At Pitter Patter Frenchies, we are committed to a happy ending for our retired adults. They make great family pets. Our retirement program is designed to help us execute our selfless action of placing our retired adults with loving families who can give them more personal one on one time as they live out the rest of their lives with them.

Do you have a big heart with lots of patience? Have you always said that even though you don’t have the upfront amount you still have a loving home and the means to properly care for a Frenchie? 

Then perhaps a great option for you is opening your heart to a retired adult! Retired adults are Frenchies that will no longer be producing and are placed as pets in interviewed homes that meet our standards. The Frenchie will live the rest of its life solely as a couch potato pet and the adoption amount is considerably less than a new Frenchie puppy. Adoption costs vary but can be as little as $200 to as much as $2,500 depending on several factors. We have a variety of adults come available for adoption (genders/colors/coat types). All of our adults are raised in our home with love and care. They are socialized with children and other pets to ensure they are well-adjusted and ready for their new homes. All of our dogs are well tempered as well as kid and dog friendly. Our adults are crate trained and 90% house trained. The Frenchie breed is one of the most stubborn breeds to potty train so accidents should be expected. Patience is key when bringing an adult home as they take more effort to get them to adjust to your surroundings and potty routine than a puppy. Our adults come fully vetted, well rounded with a balanced temper, exposed to outings, leash trained and with a contract. You must sign a spay/neuter contract and the dog will not come with registration papers as it will absolutely not be bred. None of our adults have any health issues or behavioral issues.

We want to make sure that every adult finds the perfect home. That's why we have a thorough adoption process that includes an interview (virtual), reference checks, and a home visit (virtual when needed). We are always available to answer any questions or concerns you have along the way. Any adult we place is intended as their last home. If an adult needs to be re-homed it MUST come back to us.

We have a gorgeous young adult girl retiring that is seeking a five star forever family to live out her life on a comfy couch. Our girl is super loving and social. The female whose time has come for retirement is Teddy Su. Her adoption fee is very reasonable compared to a new puppy. Our girl comes current with vetting, spayed and current with monthly prevention as well. All of our adults live a family life but patience is still needed with the transition as they are relearning a new home, routine, potty schedule and family. However, here all of our girls are potty trained and crate trained with the occasional accident. They are also leash trained and friendly with all our other dogs and children. Constantly exposed to different things. We will only place them with committed families that will keep them forever no matter what. Our girl recently had a litter so she needs more time to get back to her pre-pregnancy body condition with some weight gain and her coat thickening up again. However, her milk supply should be dried up by the time she is ready to go and her spay incision healed nicely. This is a great opportunity for a family that wants to skip the puppy phase and needs a Frenchie for a much more affordable cost.

Teddy Su- She is a petite Red Fawn Merle shorthaired Frenchie. Currently weighing 18 pounds. She is 2 years old. Very very sweet girl that is submissive yet playful. Very affectionate and loving with a goofy personality. She still has puppy tendencies because she has a very young, innocent and pure spirit so we want only a patient home for her. She is already spayed and fully vetted.                   TEDDY HAS BEEN ADOPTED!
